When Nicole goes home, she goes to see Gerard and apologize for her family’s past with him. She intends to be his neighbor, but sparks fly. She rediscovers joy in her life when she helps him with his campaign. So many things stand in the way of romance, like her movie star life, Gerard’s political future, and her family. Yet once they meet and sparks fly, can they ignore love or will they get swept away? Will love truly be more powerful than politics and machinations?
