FAMILY IS EVERYTHING
When Haley’s brother and sister-in-law are killed in an accident, she willingly puts aside her plans and takes her three-year-old nephew to raise. He’s the only family she has left and family is everything.
When Steve learns that his sister and brother-in-law have been killed, he drops everything to find the nephew he knew nothing about. After all, he’s the only family he has left and family is everything.
The two collide when Steve assumes Haley is a teenager just returning from a night of partying at six-thirty in the morning instead of returning from work.
Would a judge agree that Timmy would be better off living with his uncle at his ranch instead of being with his aunt who works twelve-hour shifts at the hospital? Afraid of losing Timmy, Haley agrees to Steve’s suggestion to move to the ranch with him. As a nurse practitioner, she can set up her own office on his ranch while still being there for Timmy.
Haley and Timmy’s presence upset the status quo for neighboring rancher Matt and his daughter, Bethany. She has had her sights set on marrying Steve since they were kids. Her father had plans for them to get married and join their ranches to make it one of the largest ranches in Wyoming.
But that is the least of Steve’s worries. Someone is buying up ranches in the area, cattle rustling is on the rise, and someone is watching his ranch. When someone takes a potshot at Timmy and Haley, Steve wonders whether Matt or Bethany is behind that. Next, a little girl is shot, and Matt ends up dead. Steve needs to figure out who is behind the trouble before Haley ends up in the crosshairs.
