Ever wonder how the Founding Fathers were able to pay for an Army and the basic resources required to sustain the new fledgling nation? Did they have access to a vast treasure? How did a ragtag set of Patriots defeat the largest military in the world? Our story picks up right where the first book in the series, The Secret of Eden and the New World, left off. Once again, Nathanial Briggs is a seemingly ordinary teenage boy in pre-Civil War America. This time his Dreams center on his great grandfather, Jeremiah Briggs, who is one of the Guardians of the Secret of Eden. Eventually, Jeremiah, along with a young man named Alex, whose full name is Alexander Hamilton, are inducted into the Sons of Liberty. The leaders who take Jeremiah and Alex under their tutelage are none other than Benjamin Franklin and Samuel Adams. As fate would have it, Alex introduces Jeremiah to Samuel’s daughter, Hannah. The recognition is instantaneous. Hannah is also one of the Guardians. She is and always has been Jeremiah’s soulmate. The three Guardians embark on an epic journey to secure the Secret of Eden. There is only one problem. The Secret of Eden is hidden in Nova Scotia near the home of the largest navy in the world, the British Navy. They must navigate through the British Flotilla, hostile natives, and their age-old enemy, the Child of Canaan. If they fail, the world will most assuredly face a cataclysm. If they succeed, the world will be safe… for now.
