Solarflame

For centuries, the Dalgaard Overlords have ruled their kingdom by the might of their dragons and the incredible power of their most feared weapon, the sword Solarflame. When the Overlord is assassinated, the kingdom plunges into chaos. A new generation must step into the fray to prevent the domain from falling to its enemies. Rangthor Dalgaard ascends to Overlord after the assassination. Rangthor must overcome his grief and find the depth of character needed to commune with the gods in a mere two weeks. Failure to perform this most sacred duty will result in the kingdom plunging into darkness. Communicating with the gods means suffering the terrible pain of self-immolation, which is a trial he is unprepared to face.
