Song of Sugar Sands centers around Peter O’Neil and Acadia Powers. It tells of their falling in love and the traumatic first year of their marriage, and of Acadia’s struggle to come to terms with issues of faith. In this book, the church in Sugar Sands is also going through growing pains, and struggling to deal with issues of change.
