I spent a lifetime being ensnared because I simply didn’t know anything about narcissism. Of course I had heard the term, but thought it was something quite innocently related to vanity. Even after years of researching the subject, I still don’t fully understand it. If more people learn to recognize the signs, the less harm narcs will be able to do.
