Rose is a nerdy librarian going through a divorce when she is abducted by aliens. When the spacecraft is attacked by the enemies of Queen Nashal, Rose makes it back to Earth freshly impregnated by alien royalty with said enemies on her heels. No one knows how human genetics evolved to create Mirrors. No one knows how the evidence of a criminal's last horrendous act can be confirmed in a single gaze of a child's silvered eyes. But just because science can't explain something doesn't mean it can't be used, and this gift is simply too valuable to ignore. Twins Thomas and Ashley Ross have grown up knowing they would be used as Mirrors for the “good” of humanity. When their powers mature at age twelve, they are taken weekly to fulfill their role. By reliving the most heinous crimes from a perpetrators’ perspective, they alone can assure that no innocent people will be executed, and that the worst offenders are not set free due to lack of evidence. Justice is not without cost, however. Taking on the memories of others is a destructive process, one that quickly consumes the children involved until most take their own lives. As despair threatens to drown Thomas and Ashley, a distant hope keeps them from succumbing: If they can make it to their eighteenth birthday, their contract with the government will be fulfilled. Changing views on the morality of their role threatens to tear them apart, but the twins struggle to cling to each other and try to construct a fragile life above the weekly flood of horrors. As their work takes it toll, however, a new question emerges: does survival even matter when you’re already broken beyond repair?
This isnt my time to die.
It cant be. I havent gotten this far only to meet my maker in the dirty corridor of a wrecked spaceship.
I survived an intergalactic civil war.
I lost my family.
I reinvented my entire life as a salvager on the fringes of the universe.
I looked at dead bodies that were strewn around me.
I stared down the barrel of the gun that was pointed at my chest.
Betrayal was always ugly, but it looked especially awful this time.
I had a terrible taste in my mouth.
I wanted nothing more than to pummel the salvager that was in front of me.
I just had to find a way to stay alive long enough to get my revenge.
It starts with an odd hum that brings headaches and nosebleeds to the inhabitants of a remote, sleepy country town. Then a sinkhole begins to form…and out from that hole comes the townspeople's worst nightmares. Facing their fears and the growing madness, a group of survivors descend into the collapsed area in an attempt to save what is left of their town. Sacrifices will be required, but will they be enough? The hole is growing…spreading…and the horror within it is growing stronger…
"I and my 2,883 sisters, brothers, and half-siblings are heirs to some of the richest families in the world. We are also genetically engineered freaks..." — Allison Kemp, Foundation Heir.
Allison faces the challenge of a lifetime when she and those she loves are targeted by RealHuman, a cult determined to protect the human race from the rise of a genetically engineered species. Being wealthy and known worldwide turns out not to be an advantage when you are being hunted, and sometimes the people who seem most determined to help you are the people you should fear the most.
First Contact is imminent, but it comes with conditions…

Frightened and bewildered, they become trapped in a dark and mysterious conflict between clandestine Earth forces and the alien wave—and Laura’s world starts to unravel.
But everything may not be as it appears. Could the aliens have an ulterior motive? And do they have a mission for Jason?
The world may not be ready for alien communication, but it may have little choice in the matter.

One click worthy!" -Samuel Peralta "I couldn't put this book down. ... The world that P.K. Tyler creates in the Jakkattu Vector is believable, and I really appreciate her genuine, human voice. To Tyler, people are people, no matter how they look or where they're from, and any reader wh ...
