Young Adult

Pre-teen books co-authored by a real pre-teen!

When I was just 4-years old I wrote on my blog - "Hi, I am Mia Mei, alias M&M, Dawgie, Sweety, Gundam, puchi puchi, Mimi and a bunch of other things.

I am Chinese-American. And I am learning what that means and have written about my experiences growing up here on my blog.

My mommy and daddy love me and from them I learn to love life.”

I aim to make the world a better place. I have dreams of going on a Peace-Corps Mission, and maybe becoming a teacher at US military installations around the world. I also love stories and think that perhaps I may go to work for Pixar as a storyteller or become a Disney Imagineer. I want to give back to the world of stories.

I am now a 7th grader and I really love to read. I love to read so much that I have run out of things that I like to read. Oh, there are a lot more books to read for sure. But not the kind I wanted to read. You know ... kiss-y, love-y. Yuck! At least, not yet.

In the summer between finishing my 5th grade at the elementary school I attended and moving up to the 6th grade in a new school, my Dad and I decided to create our own series of books.

We did. We did.

Dad and I co-authored the first 3 books in the Growing Up Aimi Series (1300+ pages!) and expect to finish number 4 by Thanksgiving ‘20. We have themes and storylines for books 5, 6 and 7 also. One book at a time.

We invite you to join 3,000+ others to receive our bi-weekly newsletters. For signing up you will receive a FREE COPY of Making of the Giant Forest. In that book dad goes into detail on the logistics of co-authoring our books. There’s also an alternate ending to The Giant Forest and you will learn how Dad and I resolved our differences.

We welcome you to the Growing Up Aimi world and are thrilled to have you dive into the Growing Up Aimi Series. For a limited time you can GET the BOXED SET of ALL 3 BOOKS in one e-box set for $2.99.

You are invited to SEE THE WHOLE SERIES and check out our dozens of 5-star reviews
