After working for several years as a professor in Brazil, C. Hofsetz moved to the United States and changed careers. Currently, he is a Software Engineer Manager by day, and a writer by night.
Software engineering and computers have been his passion since he was a teenager, but he's been reading novels for longer than writing code. One day, he couldn't help it anymore. He wrote the first chapter of a book. How bad could it be? But things escalated quickly. Next thing he knew, he was writing yet another chapter, and then the next. He tried to hide it, but his family knew he was up to something.
When they figured out what he was doing, it was too late--he accidentally had written a whole book.
The result of this journey is Challenges of The Gods, a story about a fantastic world of gods meddling with humans.

Anne Wheeler grew up with her nose in a book but earned two degrees in aviation before it occurred to her she was allowed to write her own. Fascinated with space travel from an early age, science fiction was a natural fit. When not working, moving, or writing her next novel, she can be found planning her next escape to the desert. She currently lives in Georgia with her husband, son, and herd of cats.
I'm a lifetime Northeasterner, and I currently live in New York City, where I write from my apartment...and continue to fill small notebooks with ideas for future books. I've been reading science fiction and fantasy for just about as long as I've been reading, so, of course, when I started to write, that's where I ended up. It's been a great ride so far!
My tastes as a reader are fairly varied and eclectic, but I'd say my favorites are military and dystopian science fiction, space opera, alternate history, and epic fantasy, usually a little bit gritty. I also read a lot of non-fiction, mostly history. I write a lot of science fiction with military themes, but also other SF and some fantasy as well. I like complex characters and lots of backstory and action. Honestly, I think world-building is the heart of science fiction and fantasy, and since that is what I've always been drawn to as a reader, that is what I write.
Among other things, I write the bestselling Crimson Worlds series and the Far Stars series published by Harper Voyager.
I've been an investor and real estate developer for a long time (mostly retired from it now), a fiction author more recently. When I'm not writing, I enjoy traveling, running, hiking, reading. I love hearing from readers and always answer emails. I think you stop growing as a writer if you stop listening to those who read your books.

I look at the night skies, at the stars and planets, and I dream of what will someday be humanity's home. I imagine a future where we have stretched out into the stars, discovering new worlds, and new beauty. These dreams have come to life in the series of books coming to life in the world of Aeon 14.

The universe of Aeon 14 is based on the premise that advanced, intelligent, starfaring life takes 14 billion years to evolve. In astronomy an aeon is a billion years. In Aeon 14, humanity is at the leading edge of this evolution in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Humanity and the AIs they have created spread out amongst the stars and find that they are alone, though it may not always be that way...

I am an author and a Bible teacher. The Bible is -- by far -- my favorite book. I read it regularly in the original languages (Greek and Hebrew) and several literal English translations, frequently in the German (usually the Elberfelder) and the Greek OT (the Septuagint), and occasionally in the Latin. The areas of study that fascinate me the most include Bible languages, eschatology (prophecy), apologetics, ancient history (particularly ancient catastrophism), and electric universe cosmology.
Currently my wife, Nita, and I reside in Harvey, ND, where I share in the ministry of the Word at Harvey Gospel Chapel. We have four children, all of whom are married, and ten grandchildren. We live in an older fixer-upper that we have largely remodeled.
My work experience is extremely varied --- my brother-in-law once teased me that I should write a book called "101 Occupations." I have been, among other things, an Airborne Ranger, a cook, a waiter, a meat cutter, a carpenter, a mason tender, a painter, a remodeler, a janitor, a food-service delivery driver, a truck driver, a farm hand, a factory worker in numerous settings, a sawmill hand, a lumber yard hand, a security guard, a car salesman, an insurance salesman, a daytrader, a Jiffy Lube tech, and a propane truck driver. My current job is delivering newspapers. I also designed and built a 3600' square foot, square-timber log home which we enjoyed for ten years.
I am a man of simple pleasures: backpacking, hiking, campfires, mountains, sunrises and sunsets, thunderstorms, starry skies, northern lights, coffee, dark chocolate, reading, friends, and good conversation. My favorite genres of music include the whisper of the wind in the pines, the call of Canadian geese, the cry of the loon, the bugle of a bull elk, hymns, worship music, and classical music. When I really get a strong itch for adventure, I like to climb mountains --- over the years I have managed to climb Mt. Rainier once and Granite Peak in Montana three times. Next up? Maybe a fourteener with my son Noah in Colorado.

Go beyond First Contact: The ‘Milijun’ Series
As a youngster growing up in the cobbled streets of Stockport, UK, Clayton Graham read a lot of Science Fiction. He loved the ‘old school’ masters such as HG Wells, Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov and John Wyndham. As he left those formative years behind, he penned short stories when he could find a rare quiet moment amidst life’s usual distractions.
He settled in Victoria, Australia, in 1982. A retired aerospace engineer who worked in structural design and research, Clayton has always had an interest in Science Fiction and where it places humankind within a universe we are only just starting to understand.
Clayton loves animals, including well behaved pets, and all the natural world, and is a member of Australian Geographic.
Combining future science with the paranormal is his passion. He hopes you can share the journey.

Natalie has an undergraduate degree in art education and practiced law before retiring to fulfill her lifetime dream of being a full-time writer. She grew up in rural Ohio and attended Kenyon College and The Ohio State University.
My dog, Jess and I hike in fabulous woods every day, rain or shine, sleet or snow. Having an adventurous nature, I learned to fly small cessnas in NJ, hang-glide in New Zealand, kayak in Pennsylvania, ski in New York, scuba dive with great white sharks in Australia, dig up dinosaur bones in Montana, sky dive in Indiana, and raft a class four river in Tasmania. I'm an avid gardener, amateur photographer, and dabbler in watercolors and graphic arts. Yet through my entire life, my first love has and always will be writing novels. I love to create interesting characters, set them loose, and scribe what happens.
You may think of yourself in plural, if you like. For oher versions of you live on the various universes.
Also, be aware universes collapse and blossom all the time. So, you could go through several versions of yourself in a single, trying day.
Have you ever arrived at work, with no memory of actually driving to your place of work? If the answer is YES, that means your universe and another similar universe collapsed into one, and sorry to say, you got the job.
Not to worry, while a bit disturbing, this is completely natural. Someday, long in the future, there will come a time when only one universe will remain. And that is what this story is about. There is a force of evil who wants to make the final universe a horrid place to live, while another group of Gods want it to be a lovely place. But neither the Evil creeps, nor the good Gods can succeed without help from the people on all the universes that came before it.
In your universe and those most similar to it, there are cute little water babies in a different dimension, They turn out to be brilliant, all because a very lazy, poorly behaving ‘god’ didn’t do his job properly. Not surprising since he’s actually working for Side Evil. Now with brilliant beings to assist, the good, but somewhat irritable God, Zousan, finally has a chance to win the last universe!
