I wrote my first novel in college at the University of Wyoming, played lead guitar in Pinky’s bar as a member of “Suzy Q and the Quad City Ramblers,” Got an English degree, then an engineering degree, worked a lot, got married to Traci (probably the best thing to ever happen), wrote several books with Raymond Dean White, retired recently from said engineering and started writing again.
Now I write cheerfully demented novels about con artists and overweight PIs, play guitar a lot (on a very well used and loved 1954 Martin D-18 (for those of you who have guitar lust—centerfold picture available on request) and generally am having the best retirement ever.

Nobody really cares that Sam Cheever is a USA Today Bestselling Author. Nobody cares that she's written a whole ton of fun and snappy books. Let's face it, the most interesting thing about Sam is the fact that she's a dogaholic. Yeah, there's no Dogaholic's Anonymous chapter that can help her. Believe me, she's looked. So Sam deals with her problem the best way she knows how. She digs into the mountains of personal experiences (mostly involving dog poo) to write GREAT dog characters.
Oh, and there are some people in her books too. She's also pretty good at those.
Want to ask Sam about her dogs...erm...books? You can connect with her at one of the following places. Just don't ask her why she has 16 dogs. Nobody in the whole wide world can answer that.

I grew up on a farm in rural Indiana, USA. I have seen people in spirit since I can remember. Some would be staring outward, some would wave at me as they go by and some would knock on my second story bedroom window!
Intuition and mediumship was a natural part of my childhood and upbringing. My family assumes that interacting with spirit and trusting the intuitive information that comes to us is normal. We all are part of the of the non-physical world and the physical world at the same time. Awareness of both is true balance in life.

While Harlequin Presents remains my first love, I also write romantic comedy, medieval fantasy romance, erotic romance, and small town contemporary romance for Tule Publishing's Montana Born. In fact, I write just about anything, so long as it's romance. P.S. I'm also Canadian.
