Explore love stories inspired by Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice!

Evy Journey, 2015 SPR (Self Publishing Review) Independent Woman Author awardee, is a writer, a wannabe artist (since she was nine years old). She wishes she lives in Paris where people have perfected the art of aimless roaming. She's visited Paris, even lived there a few times as a transient; that is, she stayed from two to six months.

She's a writer because beautiful prose seduces her and existential angst continues to plague her even though such preoccupations have gone out of fashion. She takes occasional refuge by invoking the spirit of Jane Austen and spinning tales of love, loss, and finding one's way---stories into which she weaves mystery or intrigue. Then, she sets them in various locales.

In a previous life, armed with a Ph.D. and fascinated by the psyche, she researched and shepherded the development of mental health programs. And wrote like an academic. Not a good thing if you want to sound like a normal person. So, in 2012, she began to write fiction (mostly happy fiction) as an antidote.

Epic 7-part Serial: Love and Loss, Celebrity and Secrets with Lorraine Pestell!

Lorraine Pestell was born in London and has lived and worked as an IT professional all over the world, including the UK, several European capitals, the USA and Singapore, before moving to Australia for the turn of the millennium. Having suffered from chronic clinical depression since childhood, and later diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after a violent marriage and other challenging events, she turned to creative writing as therapy and to escape from the world.

A passionate advocate for mental health awareness and rational suicide, Lorraine has two main goals for her writing: first, to inspire fellow sufferers to rise above their symptoms and make a success of their lives; and second, to encourage non-sufferers to tolerate, support and even love those afflicted with mental illness in their quest to live a "normal" life.

The seven-part contemporary fiction serial, "A Life Singular", is truly Lorraine's life's work, starting out as an adolescent romance in her early teens. It has since become seven long books exploring the human mind and social justice, wrapped in the universal theme of love and our endless fascination for celebrity.

Book 7, "A Life After", will be released sometime in 2018!

Diane Rapp became an entrepreneur when she started her own dog grooming salon in Santa Barbara, California. She spent the next thirty years as a small business owner; she sold real estate, started an office supply/copy center, and performed free-lance advertising design. During all those years Diane wrote stories as a cure for insomnia.

"The Alphas" is the prequel to “Howl of the Wolf”, book 1 of the Heirs to the Throne trilogy. The novel introduces the dogs and wolves that eventually formed a pack that travels through space to inhabit Drako. The story is also a mystery. In "The Havenshire Resistance", the second book of the series, Queen Krystal's teenage daughters learn to use their special inherited powers. Krystal and her daughters lead an army of Samurai women, telepathic wolves, and commoners to save the kingdom from an evil usurper in a dramatic battle.
