A Duchess Enraged: An After Dark Version Georgian Romance
It's 18th century London, where an Earl loses a vast sum of money to his good friend, a Duke. To settle the debt, the Earl suggests that he marry his fourteen year old daughter to the Duke’s twenty-one year old son. The marriage takes place the next morning. She is terrified, and he is furious. Calling her an ugly dowd, he leaves immediately after the ceremony on the Grand Tour and does not return for four years. When he returns, two adults who have barely met, and don’t even recognize each other must build a marriage. Can these two strong and determined personalities learn to overcome the resentments of the past, and convert the misunderstandings of the present into a passionate love affair on which they can build a life?
If you love a sexy romance this version is definitely for you! I guarantee, you'll never look at a library in quite the same way again. If you like sweet romance with NO sex, please buy "A Most Unusual Situation", the "Traditional" (sweet, no sex) version of the same story.
The novel is based on actual history, that of the Earl of March and Lady Sarah Cadogan. The historical details can be found in my blog at AHeyerLove.com. The Earl of Cadogan did marry his daughter, Lady Sarah Cadogan, to the Duke of Richmond’s son, the Earl of March, sight unseen as a way of settling an enormous gambling debt he owed the Duke. They were married the day after the agreement was made, and the infuriated Earl of March departed on his Grand Tour immediately thereafter, not to return for four years. You can read the details on my blog, http://www.aheyerlove.com/blog/. Because I like ladies with ships on their heads (see my blog also), I placed the costumes a few decades later in the 18th century, but attitudes towards marriage and the Grand Tour changed relatively little in that time.

The WEEKLY DEALS is a weekly digest email sent to readers signed up for the genre of your choice. This mailing uses a different sending engine than the Daily Deal itself, so some readers who miss the Daily Deal for whatever reason (spam filters, timing, vacations...) may get this mailing. (And if they get both, even better! we all know the data about how people often need to see things multiple times before they react...)
Double the coverage, double the reminders to grab your deal!
Mailing goes out EARLY on Wednesdays and covers that Wed until the next Wed. So if your deal is on a Tuesday only and you submit it the Monday before - that won't work for the weekly mailing. But if you submit on Monday for a Daily Deal on Tuesday, and your book is on sale Tues-Thurs, for example, then you're good - Daily Deal will go out on Tuesday and you'll be included in the Weekly Deals on Wed. showing the end of your sale on Thursday.
