Crimes in every state capital in this clever mystery series

"Making the world a better place by telling stories and helping others share theirs."

Troy Lambert is a freelance writer, author, editor, and publisher who has dreamed of writing books since he was a young boy. He wrote his first book, George and the Giant Castle, when he was six years old. After being told by teachers, counselors, and many people around him that writing was a great hobby, but not a great way to make a living, Troy explored other money-making options.

After nearly three decades amassing a collection of name tags, hairnets, and various careers, he finally found the way to fulfill his dream of writing full-time and making a living at it. He currently has written over two-dozen books including ghostwriting projects, is a freelance writer, content strategist, ghostwriter, publisher, and occasional editor.

Troy lives, works, and plays in Boise, Idaho with his wife and a pack of very talented dogs who are occasionally enlisted to write blog posts and book blurbs. His fiction work can be found at fictionupdates.troylambertwrites.com and you can learn more about writing for a living at writingasabusiness.troylambertwrites.com.

Troy writes the Capital City Murders series with fellow author Stuart Gustafson.

Modern Mysteries by Susan Keene

Susan can whip up a gourmet meal, build a table in her workshop, or draw a picture (with the aid of a lightbox).

She writes full time. A lot of her off time is taken up with eight rescue dogs who made their way to her farm over the years. Chili, her dachshund, is the only one that is not a rescue. So it brings the total to nine.

Chili is featured in the Kate Nash Mystery series. She comes at the end of volume one and becomes a part of the fictional family.

You can find Susan on Facebook at Susan Keene's Author Page, her website, susankeeneauthor.com

A True-Life Murder Mystery with a Connection to Author Maria Grazia Swan

Gemini Moon: Murder under The Italian Moon (Lella York Mysteries Book 1)A True-Life Murder Mystery with a Connection to Author Maria Grazia Swan!

Most of my stories are inspired by real events and Gemini Moon is not only inspired by something nefarious that really happened, but more so because the victim was a personal friend. She died of a gunshot to the head. Her death was ruled accidental. The shooter? Her husband. This happened in 1990, in Southern California. I knew I had to write about it, I also knew I wanted to do it right.

In my book, Gemini Moon, the roles are reversed, the wife shoots the husband. Because of my strong friendship with the woman whose death inspired the story, I describe her as she really was in life, pretty, smart, funny, bubbly and full of love. R.I.P. Yvonne. Yvonne was the Editor of a monthly magazine, she freelanced on the side. The day she was shot, she fell face first, on top of the manuscript she was editing. It was my first mystery. Love Thy Sister.

SL Beaumont is the author of the Amazon best-selling series, The Carlswick Mysteries and the new standalone thriller Shadow of Doubt.

She lives in beautiful New Zealand, which is only problematic when the travel-bug bites (which it does fairly often)! Her passion for travel has seen her take many long haul flights to various parts of the world. Her love of history helps determine the destination and the places she visits are a constant source of inspiration for her.

Prior to becoming an author, SL Beaumont worked in banking in London and New York.

The titles in The Carlswick Mysteries series have been awarded honorable mentions at the San Francisco and New England Book Festivals, and Conspiracy, Deception and Mythology have all been Finalists in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards. The Carlswick Deception was also a Reader's Favorite 2018 YA Mystery Finalist.

When I set out to write this series, I wanted to write the kind of books that I like to read - usually fast-paced mysteries and thrillers with a bit of romance, strong characters and plenty of plot twists and turns. The Carlswick Mysteries are a great mix of these elements. The series focuses on the mystery genre overall with the romantic relationship between Stephanie and James running through each book. History is a key theme, particularly European history surrounding World War II and its cultural impacts.

Praise for The Carlswick Mysteries:
“A suspense-filled thriller, packed full of twists and turns. Highly recommended.” The Wishing Shelf
“Fast paced and highly entertaining.” Reader’s Favorite
