Arietta Richmond has been a compulsive reader and writer all her life. Whilst her reading has covered an enormous range of topics, history has always fascinated her, and historical novels been amongst her favorite reading.

The Derbyshire set series is comprised of 12 (mostly) shorter novels, plus a number of related short stories. One short story (available only as a subscriber to Arietta's newsletter at http://www.ariettarichmond.com)

The 'His Majesty's Hounds' series is planned to be 16 books, at this point (it may grow if any more of those pesky secondary characters demand their own books!). There will be a new series, tentatively titled 'A Duke's Daughters - The Elbury Bouquet'. Which will focus on some characters that you've met in the His Majesty's Hounds Series.

She lives in Australia, and when not reading or writing, likes to travel, and to see in person the places where history happened.

His Majesty's Hounds Series

Six men return from the Napoleonic wars, forever changed, and try to settle back into normal civilian life. The series follows them, their families and close associates over the next four years or so, as their friendship holds true, despite the constraints of society. Each finds love along the way. each book can be read as a standalone story, but the best reading pleasure will be achieved by reading them all in order.
