Mystery - Cozy

Jill Andrews Cozy Mystery Series

I write contemporary sweet romances and cozy mysteries. I live in a small town in Washington State, near Seattle. I love to write about small coastal towns, although those that I write about are figments of my imagination.

I used to be a tax accountant, but realized that writing romantic stories about people falling in love or making my amateur sleuths discover secrets about their suspects was way more fun than depreciating assets.

There's never a dull moment in my household, with a tech geek husband, two small boys that keep me on my toes, two cranky cats, and a mischievous house rabbit. Tidbits of my everyday life have a tendency to find their way into my fiction, so watch out! :)

The Dead Red Mystery Series

My Lalla Bains series is about a tall, blond and beautiful ex-model turned crop-duster who, to quote Lalla Bains, has "been married so many times they oughta revoke my license." Lalla is no Danielle Steele character & she's not afraid of chipping her manicure. Scratch that, the girl doesn't have time for a manicure what with herding a bunch of recalcitrant pilots and juggling work orders just to keep her father's flagging business alive. Beginning with A Dead Red Alibi, Lalla and her family will reside in South East Arizona where she will divide her time between a fledgling P.I. business with cousin, Pearlie Bains, and volunteering as a team member with Cochise County Search and Rescue.

Classic Cozies from Donna Huston Murray

Donna Huston Murray's eight cozy mysteries feature a woman much like herself, a DIY headmaster's wife with a troubling interest in crime. The latest Gin Barnes mystery, FOR BETTER OR WORSE, has been shortlisted for the Chanticleer International Mystery & Mayhem Book Award. FINAL ARRANGEMENTS, set at Philadelphia's world famous flower show, achieved #1 on the Kindle-store list for both Mysteries and Female Sleuths. The first in Murray's new mystery/crime series, WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU, garnered Honorable Mention in the 23rd Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards.

At home, she assumes she can fix anything until proven wrong, calls trash-picking recycling, and, although she should probably know better, adores Irish setters. Donna and husband, Hench, live in the greater Philadelphia, PA, area.
